The Hexadex Group are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Qualified Accountant to join our finance team.

This role is based at our Head Office at Gainsborough and has a £175m turnover international, privately owned group, involved in automotive and other industrial manufacturing and services.

The Hexadex group has five UK subsidiaries plus wholly owned companies in Mexico, Romania and India and JVs in the US, China and Japan.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the monthly group management consolidations and budgets/reforecasts on the in-house Adaptive cloud based system together with related monthly reports to strict deadlines.
  • Analyse / challenge subsidiary and group trading / cash performance.
  • Act as an administrator on Adaptive and support the subsidiaries in its use.
  • Be a key player in a team in upgrading Adaptive to further streamline it.
  • Provide up-to-date technical accounting advice.
  • Assist with the annual budget process.
  • Work with the Head Office accountant to maintain the HO accounts.
  • Assist in acquisitions processes.
  • Take the lead in statutory reporting and tax compliance working with our tax advisors and auditors.

About you;

  • Qualified accountant either ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Finance professional who has operated at group and possibly operating company level.
  • Reporting experience including experience of use of consolidation systems preferably within an international group who has had exposure to a multicurrency environment.
  • A working knowledge of corporate tax.
