Customer Service Engineer | Gainsborough | 39 hours per week | £30,400 - £34,500 per annum depending on experience

Our client is one of the world’s leading suppliers of Filling, Sealing and Packing solutions for the food industry. They are seeking a Customer Service Co-ordinator to join their Service Department.

Are you the right person for the job?

Reporting to the Managing Director, your excellent customer service and organisational skills will be the key requirement to ensure good customer relations working per the existing company quality system. 

You will require basic computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, Navision, e-mail, technical knowledge within our industry would be advantageous.

What will your role look like?

  • Dealing with and managing customer technical enquiries
  • Organising service visits with the Managing Director and keeping the service schedule up to date
  • Accessing and managing the technical drawings for service visits
  • Preparation and delivery of brief sheets for service sheets
  • Managing the spares and modified equipment that are required for service visits
  • Ensuring that the service engineers have all spares, technical drawings, modified equipment, tools and transport for the successful completion of a service visit
  • Preparing service contracts for machines and assisting the Managing Director with the implementation of the service contract agreements
  • Assisting the Customer Spares Co-ordinator with the sales of spares to customers
