Tradewind Recruitment is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Gainsborough area. This role is full time Monday to Friday. The role is supporting a pupil with SEND on a 1:1 basis, ensuring the pupil is supported throughout their lessons.

Our partner school is a lovely primary school in Gainsborough. The school fosters a caring and nurturing approach, so that the pupils can reach their full potential.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a student with additional needs, offering vital support to ensure their educational journey is as enriching as possible. Your primary duties will include:

  • Providing individualised assistance to the assigned student.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher to adapt and tailor lessons as needed.
  • Monitoring and recording progress, communicating effectively with parents and the school team.

Requirements: We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Experience working with children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the educational needs of individual students.
