The IT department services all areas of Eminox and provides support to over 300 employees in multi-site, worldwide locations. Eminox is part of the Hexadex group of companies.

Reporting to the IT Systems Manager, the jobholder will carry out senior IT administration duties as well as assisting the IT Systems Manager with the introduction of new technologies and solutions. The jobholder will also be required to assist with end user support activities alongside other members of the IT department.

  • Support the IT Systems Manager in the delivery of an IT strategy containing projects & solutions that form part of the wider business objectives.
  • Maintain and administer existing infrastructure & solutions, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the IT systems and infrastructure within the business.
  • Conduct recommended pre-agreed changes to systems and infrastructure.
  • Carry out server, storage and system updates on a regular basis.
  • Provide 2nd line and occasional 1st line support.
  • Ensure backup systems are working correctly so that data is tested, consistent and recoverable.
  • Carry out regular housekeeping of Active Directory, Groups, Group Policies, DHCP, DNS and File Shares.
  • Perform BSI IATF compliance auditing at agreed intervals to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure throughout the business.

About you:

  • Ideally Degree educated in an IT / Computing subject.
  • Must hold a Full, clean driving licence
  • A proven background spent within a similar role, manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
  • Holds, Up to date professional certifications in technical area
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving with a keen attention to detail.

Technical requirements: -must have

  • Infrastructure setup and configuration.
  • VMware vSphere 7.0 8.0
  • VMWare VDI / VMware Horizon View.
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 2022
  • Microsoft Windows 10 - 11.
  • Microsoft Office 365 / Office 2016 Office 2019.
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Groups, Group Policies.
  • Tintri / NetApp / Tegile / Synology SAN storage systems.
  • Networking Switches, VLANS, Spanning Tree, QOS (HP Aruba especially).
