Job Introduction
Pay rate: £14.00 per hour (weekly pay)Shift Pattern: 21.00 to 9.00 (7 nights per week)Location: GainsboroughRequirements: UK driver’s license & own vehicle.Unfortunately we cannot provide VISA sponsorshipand we do not hire on a relocation basis, you must currently be based in the Gainsborough area.We are thrilled to offer a rewarding opportunity for an outgoing person that will interact with a 2.5-year-old little girl, she does have very complex clinical interventions but still a little girl that wants love and attention. This girl requires tracheostomy and ventilation support overnight.This is a complex role, therefore applicants should be confident/have some experience with at least some of the above.If you are resilient, reliable, empathetic and looking for a role that truly makes a difference to someone else’s life then we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Support Workers cover all manners of support for others – from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping. The main responsibilities are below:
- Trachy care and management
- PEG care – feeds via feed machine
- Medication administration
- Personal care including pad changes and Skin integrity
- CPAP via vent and Oxygen administration and management
- Physiotherapy
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience with Trachy paediatric.
- Enteral feeding.
- Childhood development
- Complex care
- CPAP

- Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required
