Job Introduction

Support WorkerPay rate: £14 per hour  (Monthly Pay)Shift Pattern: 9pm - 9am (full time hours available)Requirements: UK driver’s license & own vehicle.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide VISA sponsorship and we do not hire on a relocation basis, you must currently be based in/around the Gainsborough area and able to commute.

We are thrilled to offer a rewarding opportunity for an outgoing person that will interact with a 2.5-year-old little girl, she does have very complex clinical interventions but still a little girl that wants love and attention. The client requires tracheostomy and ventilation support overnight.This is a complex role, therefore applicants should be confident/have some experience with at least some of the above.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Workers cover all manners of support for others - from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping.

  • Trachy care and management 
  • PEG care – feeds via feed machine 
  • Medication administration 
  • Personal care including pad changes and Skin integrity 
  • CPAP via vent and Oxygen administration and management 
  • Physiotherapy 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required.
  • Experience with Trachy paediatric.
  • Enteral feeding.
  • Childhood development 
  • Complex care     
  • CPAP
