CWM Automation Ltd is a UK company based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. Formed in 2006, and part of the Hexadex Group, our small team of specialists in providing customers with a wide range of filling, heat sealing and lidding machinery, as well as fully automatic end of line automation solutions.

We now require a Purchasing Administrator to join the team, working with internal and our external Suppliers. You will be confident on the telephone and be able to use our systems to record all activities effectively. A varied role which includes requesting quotes for parts/items required and raising purchase orders and following up to progress all orders.

Overview of Duties

  • Liaising with Suppliers for quotes on parts/items required
  • Raising purchase orders in line with company purchasing guidelines/authorisations
  • Progressing orders to completion.
  • Checking for obsolete orders and Closing orders on the system that are no longer required
  • Assisting the buyers where required
  • Running daily reports as required/requested
  • On occasions cover the Store/Goods In Coordinators duties and assist with the Stock count and Audit.

About you

  • Good administration skills, developed from working within an office environment, Ideally has experience of working with customers on the telephone and or has covered purchasing, sales orders.
  • Takes ownership and enjoys variety within administration.
  • Confident with working with customers on the telephone and is customer focused.
  • proficient at using MS office
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple procurement tasks efficiently

Office hours 8am to 4.30pm - 3.30pm finish Friday. On site parking
