Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Chef to join our team in preparing delicious and visually appealing dishes for our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and creativity in the kitchen.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of food production within the kitchen
- Manage and lead the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare high-quality meals following standard recipes
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Create innovative menu items to meet customer preferences
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
Experience:
- Proven experience working as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Excellent understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks effectively
