My industry-leading client are looking for a community-minded Personal Injury Solicitor to join their experienced team in Galashiels. This role involves managing a caseload of mixed personal injury matters, including Employer’s Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), Occupier’s Liability (OL), and Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) cases, both pre-litigated and litigated as well as attending court tribunals. Day-to-day of the role:- Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters, including EL, PL, OL, and CICA cases.
- Handle both pre-litigated and litigated files efficiently.
- Engage in business development activities to enhance the firm’s presence and forge strong community ties.
- Work collaboratively with a highly experienced team to deliver exceptional client service.
- Provide expert legal advice and support to clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Taking witness statements and instructing medical experts.Â
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in personal injury law.
- Proven ability to manage a mixed caseload of EL, PL, OL, and CICA matters.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with the community.
- Experience in business development, with a track record of fostering relationships and promoting legal services.
