Salary: circa £40,000 depending on experience and skills

Holidays: 25 per year, all bank holidays, discretionary sick leave

The role of the estimator will involve:- Reviewing and understanding tender documents and specifications

- Accessing drawings (on numerous platforms i.e. online portals), printing off and saving the relevant drawings, then marking up the drawings to identify our scope of works

-Analyse architect plans, elevations, schedules, and NBS specifications to determine client requirements then tailor our product offerings accordingly.

- Use bespoke estimating package- Producing estimate spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel- Presenting written quotations for sign off with accompanying marked up drawings.

-Understand contractual requirements and ensure these are covered in tender prices, offering best value.

-Carry out thorough financial negotiations as required to secure client contracts.

- Working effectively with other members of the commercial/technical/sales teams in order to achieve cost effective solutions- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers

-Prioritising own workload and ensuring tender deadlines are met
