Join our clients dynamic team as a Field Service Engineer and play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge power management solutions to their customers. You'll be at the forefront of energy optimisation technology, working with transformers, voltage optimisation systems, and battery energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities for the Field Service Engineer

  • Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems at customer sites
  • Conduct comprehensive surveys, inspections, and testing to ensure optimal system performance
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using your expertise and analytical skills
  • Work directly with clients to understand their specific requirements
  • Provide customised solutions that address unique client needs
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery that builds lasting client relationships
  • Maintain detailed and accurate service records of all performed work
  • Complete necessary documentation for installations and handovers
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment
  • Work closely with technical support, sales, and customer service teams
  • Contribute to the development of service manuals and documentation
  • Stay current with technological advancements and industry trends

Qualifications (Essential)

  • NVQ level 3 or C&G 2365 in Installation & maintenance of electrotechnical systems (or equivalent)
  • C&G 2381-18 (BS7671:2018) certification
  • Valid UK driving license

Your Skills & Attributes

  • Practical knowledge of electrical/electronic systems
  • Ability to interpret and work from electrical wiring diagrams
  • Independent worker with excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong communication skills for effective client and team interactions
  • Organisational aptitude to manage service schedules efficiently
