If so, this Business Development Manager role could be the perfect opportunity for you!Role Overview:As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of government-funded and commercial training programmes. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with employers, and expanding partnerships to promote Apprenticeships, Diplomas, Short Courses, and Commercial Training.Key Duties & Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the Work-Based Learning & Skills sector.- Build and maintain strong employer relationships, understanding their training needs and offering tailored solutions.- Promote and sell Apprenticeships, Diplomas, Short Courses, and Commercial Training.- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to achieve growth targets.- Engage with local and national employers, identifying opportunities for training delivery.- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of training programmes.- Attend networking events, employer meetings, and industry forums to drive brand awareness and partnerships.- Stay up to date with funding regulations and government initiatives to advise clients on available training solutions.What We’re Looking For:? A proven track record in Business Development within the Work-Based Learning and Skills sector.? A natural hunter with the ability to generate and convert new business opportunities.? Strong understanding of government-funded training programmes, including Apprenticeships, Diplomas, Short Courses, and Commercial Training.? Ability to build long-term employer relationships and drive revenue growth.? A self-motivated and target-driven mindset.?
