You will be joining a leading manufacturer of bespoke joinery products based in Gateshead who have nationwide clientele and reach. Due to increased growth our client is looking for 2 experienced Bench Joiners to join their dynamic team.

The Opportunity:

As a Bench Joiner you will be working alongside a small team helping to create and produce top-tier joinery work for customers based all over the UK.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Creating joinery work that adheres to precise standards and exact tolerances
  • Reviewing and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to comprehend project requirements
  • Constructing custom-made items
  • Safely operating woodworking hand tools and power tools
  • Ensuring all tasks are performed accurately and meet quality standards

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Have worked in a joinery manufacturing environment and have an advanced level of bench manufacture and installation skills
  • Be able to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Have knowledge of woodworking tools and different joinery techniques
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Be organised, work individually and part of a team and able to meet deadlines
