Central Employment are working with an established EdTech organisation, as they look to appoint an Email Marketing Executive, joining there in-house Marketing function in Tyne & Wear.

Email Marketing Executive job profile:

You will play a key role in developing and executing email marketing campaigns, optimising digital engagement, and enhancing our customer journey. This role requires a strong understanding of email marketing platforms, audience segmentation, and digital marketing best practices to drive lead generation, customer retention, and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage targeted email marketing campaigns to drive engagement, leads, and renewals.
  • Work with the wider marketing team to create compelling email content, including subject lines, body copy, and CTAs.
  • Optimise email campaigns through A/B testing, segmentation, and performance analysis.
  • Manage the email marketing automation platform, ensuring workflows, triggers, and journeys are aligned with customer touchpoints.
  • Monitor and report on email marketing KPIs, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer support teams to refine email messaging and campaign strategies.
  • Support SEO initiatives, ensuring email content aligns with best practices for organic visibility.
  • Maintain and update website content using the CMS, ensuring messaging consistency and usability.
  • Analyse digital marketing performance, using insights to refine strategies and improve results.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and digital marketing innovations to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and website content management systems.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance metrics.
