Following significant recent investment my client is seeking to scale their commercial operations and the recruitment of a Partnership Development Manager is a cornerstone of their people plans.

The Role

The Partnership Development Manager will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and onboarding new partners to expand our network and drive growth. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively identifying and approaching potential partners that match the ideal profile, with the aim of securing high value partnerships.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with prospective partners through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to engage potential partners, using various channels such as email outreach, networking events, conferences, and social media platforms.
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to ensure a smooth transition and successful partnership launch.
  • Monitor and analyse partnership performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for optimisation.

The Person

You will ideally come with a partner/channel background, although someone with sales or account management background, but is seeking a change could be well suited. You will have:

  • Proven track record of success in partnerships or business development roles, preferably within the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset. Ability to identify opportunities and drive initiatives independently.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility and digital inclusion principles is a plus.
