Trade Marketing and Range Development Manager

Our client based in Gateshead is dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and unforgettable experiences. An opportunity has arisen for an innovative, strategic and experienced Trade Marketing and Range Development Manager to join their team.

The Role

  • Lead the product development process from concept to launch, including market research, product design, testing, and evaluation.
  • Develop product specifications, packaging, and pricing strategies that align with brand values and market trends.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyse customer feedback and sales data to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Manage multiple marketing and product development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote products and drive sales.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, campaigns, and content across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
  • Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve objectives.
  • Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity and positioning.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing and product development professionals.

The Person

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Product Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a marketing and range development role or a buyer role, preferably within the retail sector.
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
