Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director to join their Civil and Structural team.
Their new management team structure presents a dynamic environment, where the Technical Director will play a pivotal role in helping to lead the company forward, aligning technical excellence with business objectives and growth.
The successful candidate will be an experienced manager with extensive expertise in both Civil and Structural design engineering. In this role, they will lead a team of 14: engineers and technicians, offering technical guidance and support while helping to shape and communicate the company's vision, values, and strategic direction. Their efforts will contribute to driving sustainability, fostering growth, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring profitability whilst providing technical support, steering the company towards continued success and long-term growth.
Requirements;
In addition to having a confident, commercial and professional outlook you will need to have:
Chartered Membership or Associate Membership of the ICE or IStructE
High level of technical understanding with the ability to communicate this knowledge clearly verbally and in writing
Demonstrates effective problem-solving and decision-making skill
Strong communication, analysis, technical design and drawing skills
A self-motivated team player with good people skills and experience of managing & mentoring a team
Excellent people management and networking skills
A wide range of project experience
