We are currently recruiting for a Senior Civil Technician or Engineer to join a successful growing consultancy based in Gateshead that work on a variety of projects specialising in drainage and road design.
Delivering detailed designs on highway and drainage projects, preparing levels and earthworks, external works, and associated civil engineering infrastructure.
Generate 3D drawings and present them to the team, providing infrastructure solutions.
Senior Civil Technician/Engineer Position Overview
- Knowledge of SuDS drainage systems and Flood Risk Assessments
- Familiar with Cut and Fill Earthworks specifications and the commercial implications of setting levels for developments
- Experience working on Housing, Commercial, Residential and Extra Care developments projects.
- Provide infrastructure solutions
- Both public and private sector projects
- Working to relevant UK design standards.
Senior Civil Technician/Engineer Position Requirements
- 2 years plus experience working within an engineering consultancy
- Highly organised
- Have experience in working with NWL and Local Authority Highways Agency
- Proficient using one of AutoCad, Autotrack, Microdrainage, PDS / Civil 3D.
- CSCS card advantageous
- HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering
