Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are now looking to actively recruit skilled CNC Machinists who can program Milling/ Turning machines and are willing to work a permanent weekend shift.

It is essential candidates are willing to work 07:30-16:45  Friday/Saturday/ Sunday.

The Job you’ll do

  • Working as a CNC Miller/Turner working on 5 axis machinery.
  • Programming/ Setting and Operating to produce product of the required quality standards and specification.
  • Working to extremely tight tolerances and surface finishes.
  • Have the ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges.

About You

  • Be a time served CNC machinist with turning and / or milling experience.
  • Have Fanuc/ Mazatrol / Haas/ Heidenhain programming experience.
  • Candidates must be willing to work Friday/Saturday/Sunday 07:30- 16:45pm permanently.
  • Have experience of working in a CNC machining / industrial engineering environment.
  • Be experienced in programming and operating machines to produce product of the required quality standards and specification.
  • Have an understanding of tolerances, geometric tolerances and surface finishes.
  • Have the ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges.
  • Have a can-do attitude and work well with others in a team environment.
  • Be flexible in your approach – willing to work overtime to meet customer requirements.
  • Be willing to increase your knowledge and training on other machining processes.
  • Be willing to pass on your knowledge and train others.
