Project Manager

- Annual Salary: £50,000-£65,000
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site management, ensuring that site performance and progress meet contractual requirements and that projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will report directly to the Construction Managing Director and play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Coordinate site activities with the Construction Manager to deliver services to specification, time, and cost targets.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety initiatives on site.
- Lead and manage teams of employees and subcontractors to exceed the client’s and company’s objectives.
- Act as a client liaison and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Ensure all documentation, including day works sheets and weekly returns, are checked, signed, and submitted on time for compliance and payment processes.
- Monitor progress against the contract programme and address any delays or disruptions promptly.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure timely delivery of materials, plants, and essential drawings to avoid project delays.
- Prepare and present progress reports at site meetings and manage the snagging and defect lists effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field of construction or equivalent qualification.
- SMSTS, valid CSCS Managers and Professional card, and First Aid certification.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and client-focused approach.
- Thorough attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Proficiency in IT (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with programming processes.
- Knowledge of production processes, building, and construction.
- Certifications in Asbestos Awareness, RAMS, and Safe Working at Height are advantageous.
