Responsibilities of the Maths Early Career Teacher (ECT):
- Teach engaging and innovative maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Work closely with the maths department to develop schemes of work.
- Track and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
Requirements for the Maths Early Career Teacher (ECT):
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to the teaching profession.
- Ability to inspire and engage students in their learning.
- Commitment to professional development and growth as a Maths Early Career Teacher (ECT).
- Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
