 There's no one else like us.The opportunityAs part of a dynamic and collaborative team, you will manage electrical New Product Development activities for your product area and support the scheduling of NPD Projects. You will support the Product Director in generating the electrical NPD Product Road Map, whilst working closely with colleagues to deliver great products for the future.  You will need to remain up to date with all current appropriate technical and legal standards for the product lines and, where required, provide input into the development of these standards by serving on specific industry bodies.Collaborating with Purmo’s global test facility will be an important part of the role.With a proactive approach, you will ensure that efficient communication between key stakeholders of any incidents, deviation or risks which could affect the timely delivery of the project.You will also have the opportunity to lead individual projects.About youYou will have a passion for innovation and product development for electrical products or components and an ability to drive and achieve project objectives: Specification, Budget & Lead time.A desire to work on strategic innovation and product development projects, liaising closely with internal/external partners as well as a holistic view of electrical/ electronic design is required.A diverse, inclusive and responsible approach is vital for anyone joining Purmo. You will need to be aligned with this culture and demonstrate effective communication styles at all levels. Knowledge of Microsoft related software packages (Teams, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc) is required.
