- MTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a prestigious company in the Gateshead area.
The Company
- MTrec are currently recruiting for time served, who are looking for a long-term temporary to permanent position.
The Role
- Following engineering drawing for both batch work and bespoke / one off products
- Crimping, stripping and general preparation of products prior to assembly.
- Primarily wiring of distribution boards
- Working on high voltage switchgear
- Should be comfortable with a variety of hand tools, stripping and crimping of materials.
- Trouble shooting and diagnosing faults and repairing switchgear
- Testing and inspection of products, filling out paperwork
- Completing quality inspections on all materials and completing quality assurance paperwork
The Person
- Must be an apprenticed trained panel wirer with either an NVQ or City and Guilds qualifications
- Ideally have 18th edition qualification
- Able to work both individually and in a team
- Flexible and willing to work overtime when required
- Must have experience on high voltage switchgear, and panels

- Time served or apprentice trained panel wirers would be preferred due to the training period
