A well-known manufacturing business in Gateshead is seeking a permanent Maintenance Electrician for a day shift role.
The primary responsibilities include maintaining plant equipment, supporting shift technicians, and performing electrical preventive maintenance.
Candidates ideally should have experience with PLCs and the ability to read and modify electrical drawings.
The position offers a salary that includes two annual bonuses and 33 days of holiday.
A minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred for applicants.

Our client is a well known and market leading manufacturing business in Gateshead who have seen significant investment over the past two years. They are currently looking to recruit a permanent Maintenance Electrician who would work on dayshift only.

Therole would be working closely with Production and the Engineering team with the main duties including:

Maintaining plant equipment
Providing support to the hift technicians
Carrying out electrical PM
Performing work which meets electrical codes and standards

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

Ideally, experience of PLC's
Ability to read and modify electrical drawings
Write detailed account of shift issues and communicate to oncoming shifts

The package includes two annual bonuses and 33 days holiday.
