Role: 3rd Line Telecoms Engineer
Location: Gateshead
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (+ Car)
We are looking for a skilled 3rd Line Telecoms Engineer to join one of the UK's fastest-growing MSPs.
In this role, you will act as a technical expert, providing advanced support for telecoms infrastructure and working on exciting projects to enhance and optimise communication systems. Key Requirements:
- 3+ Years Telecoms Experience (MSP or Service Provider Environment)
- Strong VoIP Configuration and Troubleshooting Skills (e.g., SIP, PBX Systems)
- Networking Knowledge: Advanced understanding of switches, routers, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet)
- Experience with UCaaS Platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams Phone, Zoom Phone)
- Familiarity with SIP Trunking, QoS, and Monitoring Tools
Desirable Skills:
- Certifications such as CCNP, or vendor-specific telecoms/UC certifications
- Exposure to cloud telecom solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS)
