Our busy Architectural department is seeking a talented Architectural Technician with at least 5 years of experience to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects and work in a collaborative environment where your skills and expertise will be valued.

Role Overview: As an Experienced Architectural Technician, you will play a key role in our project delivery, from concept design through to construction. Based in our central Gateshead office, you will work closely with our team on a wide range of projects. While office-based collaboration is important, we also offer the flexibility of remote working for up to 1-2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed drawings and design documentation at all project stages, from feasibility to construction.
  • Utilize Autodesk Revit to develop high-quality architectural designs and details.
  • Apply your knowledge of BIM processes to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Ensure all designs comply with current Building Regulations.
  • Collaborate with the project team, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Take the lead on projects, managing them through to completion.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Architectural Design & Detailing.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and experience in BIM processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Building Regulations.
  • A construction-related qualification.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to lead projects from inception to completion.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience using Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • Experience producing building specifications, ideally with NBS Chorus.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk 3DS Max and Photoshop.
