We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support 3/4 Directors and Heads of Function across the Adult Social Care, Commissioning, Performance, and Service Development functions. This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility role where you will be integral to the smooth running of the senior management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary Management: Efficiently manage and organize the diaries of senior directors and heads of function, ensuring meetings and appointments are scheduled effectively.
  • Coordinating Senior Management Meetings: Organize and coordinate senior management meetings, ensuring all logistics are in place, and materials are prepared in advance.
  • Responding to Inquiries: Handle inquiries from Councillors and MPs in a timely and professional manner, providing appropriate responses and ensuring follow-ups as necessary.
  • Supporting Social Care Functions: Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team across various social care systems and processes (knowledge of social care systems would be an advantage).

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a senior administrative role, preferably in a public sector or social care setting.
  • Diary Management: Strong organizational skills with experience managing complex diaries.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior leaders, Councillors, MPs, and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and accuracy.
  • Social Care Systems Knowledge: While not essential, knowledge of social care systems and frameworks would be a distinct advantage.
