An excellent opportunity has arisen for a finance professionalto join a key client of mine thatspecialisesin fit-out solutions across a range of sectors including retail, leisure, hospitality, healthcare, commercial, and public entities. As the business continues to grow, it has built a reputation for professionalism and delivering exceptional to clients across the UK.

Job Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Prepare and present monthly accounts and management information
  • Reconcile and consolidate all bank accounts
  • Develop budgets and forecasts
  • Participate in regular financial planning meetings with management team
  • Develop and improve robust accounting and financial management systems
  • Support business planning
  • Assist with financial aspects of large purchases and business investments
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements
  • Meet financial compliance requirements for funding-related activities
  • Enforce internal policies, standards, and processes
  • Support internal and external auditing activities
  • Complete information requests from various government agencies
  • Manage ateam, providing staff development through coaching and training.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Qualified to CIMA / ACCA or ACA level
  • Previous experience in financial management
  • Previous experience of people management
  • Ability to challenge processes and look for improvements
  • Strong leadership experience and passion for developing people
  • Analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail
  • Good communicator that can build relationships with all levels in the organisation
