DMW Recruitmentare looking for an Electrical Estimator to join our clients established building services team based in Gateshead.

  • 45k to 55k depending on experiennce

Our client provides M&E design through to delivery in the healthcare, residential, commercial and industrial sectors. As the ideal candidate, you will have a proven track record of estimating and winning profitable jobs and have a team work ethic.

Willing to learn, have excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills as well as soft skills such as active listening, negotiating and effective communication.

Person Specification:

Essential:

Analysis of tender documents and contract terms and conditions.

Developing sub-contract terms and conditions.

Developing tenders.

Obtaining prices and managing variations.

Producing product/service specifications.

Reading technical drawings.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Commercial awareness.

Effective and ongoing communication.

Problem-solving skills.

Team-working abilities.

Working to tight deadlines.

Experience in developing and managing property-related contracts in a housing association environment.

Proven track record of leading a high-quality, high-volume customer-led service.

Demonstrated competence in a housing or technical construction discipline.

Experience working with various stakeholders to develop and agree on solutions.

Experience implementing and monitoring Performance Management Systems.

Experience working with various Asset Management Databases.

Methodical approach, attention to detail, and accuracy.

Ability to work effectively with people at all levels and willingness to work in a team.

Willingness to accept responsibility for completing designated tasks.

Ability to analyze and process technical data.
