As the HR Support and Internal Communications Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations and keeping internal communications engaging and effective. You will be responsible for HR administration, employee record management, and supporting internal communications initiatives that inform, inspire, and connect the people.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR administrative support, including maintaining employee records, managing HR systems, and handling documentation (e.g., contracts, letters, onboarding materials).
- Assist with the employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment support, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Respond to HR-related queries from employees and escalate issues where necessary.
- Manage HR systems and ensure data is up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with data protection requirements.
- Coordinate and support internal communications, including drafting newsletters, announcements, and updates to promote engagement and alignment across the business.
- Support the organisation of HR and employee events, such as training sessions, team briefings, and social activities.
- Collaborate with teams across the business to promote HR initiatives and a positive workplace culture.
Profile
- Previous experience in HR administration or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting internal communications or employee engagement initiatives.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is a plus.
Job Offer
- Salary of £25,000 - £29,000 per annum
- Temporary contract until April 2025
- Hybrid working
