About Us:
Manpower is recruiting for a detail-oriented and experienced Multi-Modal Operator on behalf of our client. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for logistics, we want to hear from you!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process shipments by air, ocean, and road.
  • Complete all relevant import/export paperwork and enter console data accurately.
  • Prepare HM Customs paperwork based on the mode of transport.
  • Handle HAWB's, MAWB's, and IATA forms.
  • Address and resolve customer queries promptly.
  • Arrange collections and deliveries of freight with haulage companies.
  • Provide air, road, and ocean quotations to customers.
  • Negotiate ad hoc rates with suppliers.
  • Invoice shipments and manage supplier invoices.
  • Ensure adequate stationery supplies for departmental needs (e.g., airwaybills, ocean bills).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.

Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with EU GDP 2013/C 343/01 guidelines for the storage and transport of pharmaceutical products.
  • Maintain transport temperature control requirements throughout various routing modes and report any temperature excursions while in transit.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Skills:

  • Essential experience with consolidations, HAWBs/MAWBs, and IATA shipment procedures.
  • Desirable: training in dangerous goods and knowledge of letters of credit (training can be provided).

Knowledge of:

  • Customs procedures and Inward & Outward Processing Reliefs (essential).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Familiarity with ASM/Chief system, NCTS.

Ability to:

  • Work independently and take initiative.
  • Handle customer interactions with tact and professionalism.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Work shifts, including overtime as required, and be on call when necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
