Graduate Teaching Assistant Post 16

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant Post 16 to join our vibrant school community in Gateshead. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable experience and contribute to the academic success of our students.
Responsibilities of Graduate Teaching Assistant Post 16:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help.
- Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
- Supervise students during breaks and extracurricular activities.
- Support the planning and execution of educational activities and events.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements of Graduate Teaching Assistant Post 16:
- Must be a graduate.
- A degree in any discipline.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine interest in working with young people.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
