Secondary Supply Teachers are required for ongoing supply work in secondary schools in the Gateshead area which we work closely with. Some of these schools have ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted ratings and are all friendly and supportive to staff. Schools regularly ask for the same staff back once relationships have been established.
We have a variety of Secondary Supply Teacher roles coming on a daily basis for long term, short term and day to day basis for Gateshead area.
Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher candidates would:
- have good classroom management skills
- have a passion for teaching secondary aged children
- work effectively with mixed ability groups of children
- have fantastic subject knowledge
- Be able to plan effective, engaging lessons.
We are keen to hear from experienced teachers and ECTs.
To apply for a Secondary Supply teaching position with Premier Teachers you must hold QTS or QTLS.
In addition, you must:
• Provide two referees we can contact
• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
