CK Group are recruiting for an entry level position as a Technical Support Scientist, on behalf of a medical diagnostic company. This role will be based at their site in Gateshead and is a permanent role with Mon-Fri day time working hours.



The Role

This role is to ensure customers have the highest quality technical support, responsible for ensuring the experience of all customers and business partners, exceeds industry standards.



Responsibilities:

  • Logging, investigating, and resolving customer complaints related to electrophoresis and haemostasis equipment and assays.
  • Ability to design, carry out and report complex scientific investigations.
  • Communicate complex scientific information effectively.

  • BSc in a scientific discipline
  • Enthusiastic and hardworking

  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Team oriented mindset
  • Ability to design, carry out, and report complex scientific investigations

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Available for occasional travel within the UK


Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in a technical support role
  • Understanding of laboratory healthcare and / or in vitro diagnostics
  • Knowledge of Haemostasis, Immunology, Haematology, or Biochemistry
  • Understanding of Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) / networking solutions
  • Full UK driving license
