We are working with a highly respected software house which is going through an exciting period of growth and change. We are looking for an experienced customer facing project manager who has experience working in a software environment. This role is essential for leading projects that involve high-value customer interactions and managing multiple project deliverables. You will be at the forefront of ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role will be based onsite in Gateshead 2/3 days per week.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead projects focusing on customer retention and the integration of new products into existing schemes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-value customers, ensuring all project milestones are met.
- Oversee the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring all outputs are delivered within agreed tolerances.
- Direct and motivate a diverse project team, managing both the operational and tactical aspects of the project.
- Produce detailed project documentation, including progress and board reports.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, ensuring timely updates and decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management within a change-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects across geographically dispersed teams.
- Excellent risk management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities.
