Job Title: Pallet Network Administrator

Location: Gateshead

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per year

Job type: Full Time - Permanent. Monday to Friday (or until night trunk ready to leave). On call 1 night per week & 1 in 6 weekends.

We are a busy transport & logistics company based in Gateshead, specialising in time critical transport to the UK and Europe.

As a company we are looking to expand and are looking to recruit a Pallet Network Planner to match the company's ambitions.

Role Description:

The successful candidate will ideally have had previous experience in a similar role, this is not essential, full training will be provided. As a Pallet Network Administrator, you will be expected to fulfil the following duties:

  • Assist pallet network manager in day to day running of local pallet deliveries & collections.
  • Route planning responsibilities.
  • Ensure night trunk truck loaded each night for hub.
  • Receive inbound & make outbound calls to drivers & customers.
  • Complete general admin tasks - uploading jobs to system, PODs etc.
