Our client, a leading Engineering company, is seeking a Mechanical Fitter due to growth.
The role involves general mechanical fitting, interpreting engineering drawings, and assembling parts into sub-assemblies.
Candidates must be time-served Mechanical Fitters with experience in assembly and installations, as well as the ability to read technical documentation.
The position offers an excellent pay rate with a standard workweek of 37 hours from Monday to Thursday, along with opportunities for overtime.
After probation, employees can expect an uplift in weekly holiday and sick pay of around 100.

The Company

Our client is a leading Engineering company. Due to growth, they are now looking for a Mechanical Fitter.

The Role

General mechanical fitting.
Interpret engineering assembly drawings, check parts before commencement of assembly.
Assemble and fit parts to form sub-assemblies, working at benches or directly on a machine structure.
To build assemblies to the stated assembly time and quality level.
Working Monday-Thursday 37 hours.
Will include some occasional travel.

The Person

Time Served Mechanical Fitter.
Experience in assembly.
Experience of installations.
Ability to read assembly/technical documentation such as drawings and work instructions.
Adhere to manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
