You will be joining a leading manufacturing company in Gateshead that has achieved consistent year-on-year growth and has exciting plans for 2024/2025. With a presence worldwide, this company provides innovative solutions across the industrial sector.

The Opportunity:

As a Mechanical Fitter you will be working alongside a small team helping to assemble parts and machinery from engineering drawings.

Main Responsibilities:

Use of hand tools to put together, install, maintain and repair equipment and machinery
Reading of mechanical drawings
Self-inspection of work

Skills and Qualifications:

Be time served
Experience of sub assembly and build of both large and small items
Mechanical build of cylinders essential
Experience of building larger components and machinery advantageous

International travel is also required for this role to support service of up to 6 weeks per year.
