We are seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanical Fitter to support our customers on-site, ensuring their operations run smoothly. Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine Maintenance: Perform inspections, servicing, and maintenance on material handling equipment across various locations, ensuring peak performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Repairs & Replacements: Carry out repairs and component replacements to ensure equipment remains fully operational.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide technical support and expert advice to clients on-site, helping them solve operational challenges.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and clients to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks for efficient operation.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment at customer sites.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience working with mechanical or hydraulic systems. Experience with forklifts or material handling equipment is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic, on-site settings.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel between locations to meet client needs.
  • Learning: Desire to expand your expertise in material handling equipment.
  • Driving Licence – UK Driving licence

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £29,500 to £35,000, depending on experience.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Overtime Pay: Time and a half for overtime, double time on Sundays.
