Currently at Interaction we are recruiting for an ambitious Transport Manager based in Newcastle.

The role primarily is Monday - Friday with weekends and bank holidays off. Typical shifts are :30

Experience of working in a transport management capacity is essential.

Key Duties and experience for this role include; Ensure effective and efficient use of driver and vehicle resources, Ensure all fleet assets are serviced and make sure they have MOT in line with requirements, Promote effective and efficient standards of work in order to comply with UK and EU laws and regulations and Health & Safety legislation, Ensure the transport planning operations are in line with budgeted costs and achieve all contractual KPI's, Manage tacho-graph infringements to full compliance, Complete accident reports and be able to update risk assessments, contributing to a positive safety culture, Comprehensive knowledge of Driver Hours and WTD regulations.
