The Role:

As Section Engineer, you will:

  • Provide technical expertise and support to the Project Manager and Site Manager in the execution of marine civil engineering projects.
  • Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of construction activities, including site surveys, ground investigation, and the installation of marine structures.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and relevant standards, including those related to marine construction and environmental regulations.
  • Manage and supervise a team of site engineers, technicians, and operatives.
  • Monitor progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement solutions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Section Engineer or similar role within the marine civil engineering sector.
  • Strong understanding of marine construction techniques, including dredging, piling, breakwater construction, and the installation of offshore structures.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant engineering software and design tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to project management.
