Sonic Summary

The job involves assembling electrical components and wiring sub-assemblies for material handling products, including overhead and offshore cranes.
Candidates must have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience, along with the 18th Edition IET wiring regulations and a valid CPCS or equivalent certification.
The position requires a full valid UK driving license, manual dexterity, and the ability to work at heights or in various climatic conditions.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards is necessary, and candidates must be prepared to complete security clearance paperwork.
The salary for this role is competitive, and candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Main duties

Undertake assembly of electrical components and wiring sub-assembly or final assessment of a range of material handling products such as overhead cranes, offshore cranes, rail-borne plant maintenance equipment for both new build and repair
Control panel building including component layout using schematics
Achieve required quality/ conformance to build standard as set out on job spec documentation
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Work in a safe manner ensuring H&S Compliance
Undertake remote work where necessary

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 or time served in relevant discipline
18th Edition IET wiring regulations
Valid CPCS or equivalent
Full Valid UK Driving licence
Manual dexterity and fitness to enable duties while working at a bench or final assemble which could involve working at height, or in various climatic conditions
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Prepared to compete necessary paperwork to undergo security clearance for client sites
Willing to undertake further training such as Personal Safety Passport Training
