About the Role:

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across the curriculum, promoting both academic success and personal growth in your students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across the National Curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Develop, implement and assess lesson plans in accordance with school policies and educational standards.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Encourage and inspire children to achieve their potential, both academically and personally.
  • Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of student performance, behaviour and well-being.
  • Support the pastoral needs of students, promoting their emotional and social development.

Primary Teacher requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Primary Teacher, with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their academic and personal development.
  • Strong classroom management skills, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff and parents.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach to teaching, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
