The role involves operating a counter-balance forklift, working as part of the dispatch team, and ensuring daily targets are met.
Candidates must have a valid counter-balance forklift license and be comfortable with manual handling, as the role is 75% manual and 25% forklift driving.
The position offers a pay rate of £12.35 per hour, with potential for increases.
Working hours are Monday to Friday with shifts from 06:20 to 14:30 or 14:20 to 22:30.

The Company

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Gateshead area and are currently looking for people to start within the next 5 days, please do not apply if you are unable to start work within that period.

The Role

peration of a counter balance for transporting products within the yard area
The main responsibilities for this role will be to work as part of the dispatch team.
Responsible for safe use of the counter-balance forklift truck.
ensure daily targets are met and effectively carry out the key processes of the department.
Use of the computerised stock and control system.
Preparation and despatch of finished goods.
Picking materials for the factory floor.
Reading product codes and aisle numbers.

The Person

Must have a valid counter balance forklift truck
Be able to work both individually in a team
Must be comfortable with the role being primarily manual handling, with 25% counter balance forklift truck driving
Should be able to start almost immediately
Comfortable working on both days and backs rotations
