We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced gas plumber to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves working on domestic properties within the Gateshead area, ensuring all gas plumbing and heating systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of gas plumbing systems in domestic properties.
  • Conducting safety inspections and testing of gas appliances and systems.
  • Diagnosing faults and providing effective solutions to ensure the safe operation of gas systems.
  • Kitchen and bathroom installations.
  • Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • White good removals and refits.
  • Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to residents and addressing their concerns promptly.
Qualifications and Experience
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Gas Safe registered with a valid certification.
  • ACS accreditation in CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, HTR1, DAH1, CAPA1.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to gas and plumbing work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
