This role is office-based and offers a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to lead projects across various sectors including commercial, retail, heritage, and education. Applicants of all levels are welcome.

Day-to-day of the role:

Oversee the commercial management of various construction projects.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Report directly to the Commercial Director, providing regular updates on project progress.
Work closely with project teams to ensure seamless execution and adherence to quality standards.
Lead cost management and procurement processes.
Manage contractual relationships with external clients, ensuring all parties meet their contractual obligations.
Drive continuous improvement in cost efficiency and project delivery through innovative solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying with a relevant degree, or 7 years’ experience without a degree.
Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects.
Strong commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills.
Proficient in cost management software and MS Office.
Full, valid driving licence as regional and occasionally national travel is required.
Strong leadership skills and experience as a commercial lead on multiple projects.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams across different disciplines.
