Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge?
We’re seeking a motivated and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable Main Contractor based near Gateshead. You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects ranging from £500k to £15m, ensuring financial and contractual success for each project.

What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in quantity surveying within UK commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of cost management
• Has worked for a Main Contractor in the past.
• A Quantity Surveyor who is collaborative and keen to progress.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Familiarity with industry software
• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.

• Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail.
• Confident and professional communicator, both written and verbal.
• Proactive and solutions-focused, with a commercial mindset.
• Collaborative, working closely with site teams and Contracts Managers.
• Well-organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Flexible and adaptable to meet project demands.
