Looking for a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor from either a Construction or M&E background to join a dynamic team. This role includes measurement, procurement, analysis, negotiation, and overseeing projects to ensure they meet commercial objectives and timelines. Additionally, you will play a vital role in promoting and mentoring a culture of contractual and commercial awareness within project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • General Duties: Oversee assigned projects, ensure compliance with company processes, and manage contract information accurately and punctually. Liasing with sub and main contractors, preparing for project takeoff.
  • Mentoring: Foster commercial behaviors, manage the Quantity Surveying function, and provide commercial support and training to team members from various disciplines.
  • Project Delivery: Balance time, cost, and quality; assist colleagues; and promote contractual awareness.
  • Commercial Management: Oversee the complete commercial management of projects, including budgeting, contract administration, change control, client negotiations, and procurement strategies.
  • Operational Decisions: Make informed decisions based on logistics, quality, resources, safety, and profitability.
  • Documentation: Prepare and negotiate interim valuations, final accounts, monthly valuations, payment notices, and manage collateral warranties.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks, ensure adherence to contractual obligations, and conduct risk and opportunity assessments.
  • Supervision: Assist in supervising and mentoring staff to ensure effective integration of new team members.

Salary is dependant on experience.
