Working as part of the HR team, the Recruitment Advisor will take the lead on recruitment, onboarding and inducting new starters into the business, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support hiring managers with recruitment activities including writing job descriptions, drafting adverts, advising on advertising methods, arranging interviews and supporting in interviews
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment plans
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and Linkedin
  • Support hiring managers during interviews in order to identify the best candidates for each role
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs
  • Manage communications between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring both parties are kept up to date with the progress of live vacancies
  • Develop relationships with agencies, job centres and other recruitment partners to improve candidate attraction
  • Process job applications and maintain candidate records on the ATS
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience, from sourcing to offer to first day
  • Manage the onboarding and inducting of new hires into the business, managing the end-to-end process from offer to hire and ensuring a positive candidate/ employee journey
  • Ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed correctly and accurately
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, always driving continuous improvement

Profile

  • Previous experience in a recruitment role, either in-house or in agency
  • Previous experience in the Manufacturing sector is essential
  • An excellent understanding of recruitment processes and best practices
  • Previous experience of managing recruitment campaigns from start to end - writing job adverts, supporting interviews, creating job adverts, drafting offers and employment contracts
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills
