Food & Beverage Manager Gateshead up to 28k. 

A North East based hotel is looking to recruit an experienced Food & Beverage Manager this role will involve Head of Department status, eligibility to join Hotel Management Incentive Scheme after qualifying period-10% of salary if joint hotel targets achieved. 

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Ensure all F&B measures scoring over 8 on Medallia
  • Food & Beverage sales targets achieved
  • Effective, recorded and retained training documentation to drive sales and deliver positive guest experience by an engaged team service, sales, till & float process
  • Working closely with finance to ensure adequate stocks of beverage and related equipment and be aware of any charging and control issues that you will need to correct
  • Beverage stock taking at each month end as well ensuring clean and safe beer lines   
  • Prepare, check and monitor departmental forecasts and rotas to ensure they are in line with set budgets and meet the service and business needs.
  • To control costs through correct stock usage, storage, rotation, par stock levels maintained, purchase order systems and minimising wastage as per company standards.
  • To be involved in the budgeting process and have financial awareness and understanding of how the role impacts the hotel Profit and Loss account.
  • Ensure Sales initiatives including daily specials, are promoted to maximise sales, achieve budgeted Gross Profit percentage

This role includes a 5/7 days a week, rota basis according to the needs of the business and the team. Will include 06:30/07:00 to 15:00 Early. 15:00 to 23:00, 15:00 to 01:00 Late and will include weekends, bank holidays over 365 (Christmas Day, New Years Eve etc).
